On October 14th at 10:00 AM, Apple will hold a special event at its Cupertino, California campus. Apple will be announcing the newest line of notebooks. The image on the invitation shows that one of the notebooks will be 13.3 inches based on some smart deductions.

There has already been speculation about the term “brick,” ranging from a codename for a new product to the name of a new manufacturing process. There has also been talk that Apple will be decreasing the price of the new notebooks, with a starting price of $799 ($300 drop). This news comes at a time when Apple’s stock has taken a heavy hit, dropping more than 40% in the last month alone. Apple is most likely hoping that this will make the inevitably bad holiday season just a little more bearable.
